Robyn brings to the team extensive Executive, Board and Strategic experience across Profit and Not for Profit Corporations and has over 20 year’s experience as a Senior Executive in the financial services industry, including 12 years as a CEO of a superannuation fund, during times of major disruption and growth in a highly regulated environment.
Over her career, Robyn has led large organisational changes including digital, regulatory, and cultural transformations, and is known for delivering business growth through developing and executing corporate and investment strategies, commercial negotiations, stakeholder relations, M&A and project management across complex programs.
While her pedigree is financial services, large corporations, and regulated environments, she challenges the mould with her innovative approach, change and transformation capability, people focus and values-based approach to leadership and development. She has encouraged and questioned the status quo to evolve businesses to grow and be known for their service excellence and high performance. Seeing the value of ongoing growth, she dedicates time to fostering and developing training and leadership development for the superannuation industry.
Having coached and mentored leaders and executives for over 15 years, Robyn knows the value of having a great coach to develop high performance leaders and teams. She has supported leaders by identifying and working through the meaning of leadership, networking, collaboration and performance to an individual and then how to deliver against these personal goals in today’s environment. Robyn has been fortunate to have worked with many current and future leaders to understand their roles, goals and career paths that align with their values while unpacking the definition of leadership that is meaningful to them.
Robyn brings strong governance and commercial skills, broad government and private sector experience, practical knowledge of executive team and board functions, an enquiring and analytical mind, independent thinking and a strategic and adaptive leadership style that is based on integrity, curiosity, resilience and adaptability.
Having been a change agent and leader for over 25 years, Robyn has been recognised by peers winning the Australian Fund Executive of the Year award in 2013. Further recognition by the CEO magazine as Financial Executive of the Year 2014 and was a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards.
She possesses qualifications in Economics, management, directorship and organisation leadership, from well-known schools including Macquarie University, Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Melbourne Business and London Business Schools.
